We have Underwear!

So we have been really frustrated with Hunter and going potty. Now we realize that he is only 2 1/2 and is still really young BUT................ he has been going potty at school for over 2 months. He was in underwear all weekend long this past weekend. Until he decided he wanted his pull ups back on. To stop a fight I let him wear them again... big mistake. So Tuesday we had a snow day and well this stubborn mama wasn't going to let him get by with this. I put him in underwear. All day he stayed dry and clean!! He started to go hide and I simply said " Hunter if you poop in those underwear it is going to be nasty" He said ok I will go poop in the potty. From then on he told us when he had to go potty. We went to Walmart and ran errands in town and he stayed dry the entire time. The only issue we have is to remember to point it down!! HAHA. We are so proud of him. Here is another thing, he does not want a reward he just wants praises. When he gets a reward he stops pottying like he is suppose to! Weird huh? Not only is he almost potty trained BUT we don't even have to reward him. What a weird child! I hope it keeps up. He likes being in underwear so much better so we will continue to work on it!!
