Hunter's birthday was spent with us on his actual birthday on Thursday. We had a special dinner for him and my parents came out to see him. We opened presents and of course we had taken special snacks to daycare that day. We got him a new bedroom set- complete with bedding and decorations. His room is no longer a baby room but a big boy room as he calls it. It is totally Toy Story as the pictures show. He also got new fishing gear for the summer! Now he is ready to fish with Daddy and Bubba.

He loves to read books so we thought this would be a good thing for him to have.
We had his party the Saturday after his birthday. We invited all his friends and family to come celebrate. He wanted cupcakes so we made lots and lots of cupcakes this week.

Then it was Bubbas turn and he got it opened. I think it took 3 swings.
We let Hunter tear it open and you should have seen their faces when that candy fell out!!
He actually blew out his own candle this year! It was awesome to see. The kids had a great day and he got lots of neat things to play with and some new clothes too. This year was so much more fun than last year. We had several things set up for the kids to do and that was fun and helped a lot too! It was definitely something we will remember.
